More Fun on the Farm

Posted in Events, Farm Life, General

Ready for another fun-filled weekend on the farm? These two new additions are! This past week, the Pleasant Acres family was blessed by the arrival of three new calves, named Red, Ryder and BB. BB and her mom are located in the Pony Pen as you enter the main section of the campgrounds. Keep an eye out and you’ll see them around the farm this summer, along with all of our other baby animals!

Coming off the heels of a busy and beautiful Memorial Day Weekend, Pleasant Acres Farm Campground in Sussex, New Jersey is geared up for another wonderful weekend of creating childhood memories. This weekend’s activities include a Horse Shoeing Demonstration with Daniel Denman on Saturday afternoon, Supersonic Karaoke on Saturday night, and a “Lucky Horseshoe” Paint Party on Sunday afternoon with Stephen Denman. Other weekend favorites include Ceramics on Friday night, Horse Drawn Hayrides on Saturday morning, and Baby Animal Petting on Sunday morning. For a complete rundown of the weekend, and the rest of the Summer 2016 season, check out the Schedule of Activities!

Don’t forget, we are currently holding a contest to “Help Name Pleasant Acres’ New Miniature Horse“. We have gotten some great entries both on our Facebook Page and at the Camp Store already, and we are still taking suggestions through June 12th. From June 13th-17th, don’t forget to vote on some of the favorites chosen on our Facebook Page. We will announce the winning name on Father’s Day Weekend!
